How to check in online with Jet2

Have your booking reference and ID ready
You'll need a 6-character booking reference (PNR) and a valid travel document (passport or EU/EEA national ID).

Use the button at the top of this page or visit jet2.com directly. Avoid third-party "check-in" sites.

Enter passenger details
Add passport / ID number, expiry date, and country of issue if travelling internationally. This step is mandatory and blocks check-in if skipped.

Choose seats and add extras
Random seats are free in the 24-hour window; named seats and priority boarding cost extra. Skip if you don't need them.

Save the boarding pass
Add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The Jet2 app stores it offline once downloaded.

Package vs flight-only baggage differs
Problem: Jet2 package holiday (Jet2holidays) typically includes 22 kg checked bag. Flight-only fares may exclude checked bag — verify on booking.
Solution: Check booking confirmation for 'Hold Bag' allowance. Adding hold bag online is £25–35; airport adds £55.
10 kg carry-on enforced strictly at gate
Problem: Jet2 weighs carry-on at gate during peak summer. Bag is gate-checked (£70 fee) if over 10 kg or 56×45×25 cm.
Solution: Weigh carry-on at home. Personal item under seat (40×30×15 cm) always free.

Is Jet2 a low-cost airline?
Jet2 is a 'value' airline with full service approach — bag allowance, free seat selection on package holidays, and meals available. More service than Ryanair/easyJet, less than British Airways.
Does Jet2 fly long-haul?
Jet2 operates short-haul leisure (Mediterranean, Canary Islands, North Africa, Eastern Europe) plus medium-haul to Egypt and Cape Verde. No long-haul.
