Known issues at HND with Japan Airlines
T1 (domestic) vs T3 (international) confusion
Problem: Some JAL flights to/from Asia depart from T3 (international) but check-in some passengers expect at T1.
Solution: Verify terminal in the JAL app before going to airport. T1 and T3 are connected by the free shuttle bus and monorail (5 min).
AA codeshare flights from US
Problem: Flights to US JFK/LAX often have JL flight numbers but operate as American Airlines.
Solution: Look at 'Operated by' on your boarding pass. If American, use aa.com for online check-in instead of jal.co.jp.
