Known issues at HEL with Finnair
Russian airspace closure on Asia routes
Problem: HEL-Tokyo / HEL-Seoul / HEL-Hong Kong now go via polar route, adding 2–3 hours.
Solution: Allow 12+ hours flight time for Asian routes. Finnair's polar route is well-suited (long-range A350) but plan rest accordingly.
Light fare excludes checked bag
