Have your booking reference and ID ready
You'll need a 6-character booking reference (PNR) and a valid travel document (passport or EU/EEA national ID).

Enter passenger details
Add passport / ID number, expiry date, and country of issue if travelling internationally. This step is mandatory and blocks check-in if skipped.

Choose seats and add extras
Random seats are free in the 24-hour window; named seats and priority boarding cost extra. Skip if you don't need them.

Save the boarding pass
Add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The Singapore Airlines app stores it offline once downloaded.

Common Singapore Airlines check-in problems
Premium Economy meal pre-order required
Problem: Singapore Airlines Premium Economy 'Book the Cook' meal selection isn't automatic and the default may not be your preference.
Solution: Use 'Manage My Booking' 24h+ before departure → Special Meals. Free of charge but pre-order needed.
KrisFlyer status passengers need to opt-in to lounge access for some Star Alliance partners
Problem: When flying SQ-operated codeshare for a partner, lounge access isn't always automatic.
Solution: Show your KrisFlyer Elite Gold card at the lounge entrance — Star Alliance Gold benefits apply on any Star Alliance flight.

When does Singapore Airlines check-in open?
48 hours before scheduled departure for most flights. Closes 60 minutes before for international, 45 minutes for short-haul to/from Singapore.
Does Singapore Airlines include checked bags in Economy Lite?
Economy Lite fares (the cheapest) on shorter intra-Asia routes don't include checked baggage. All long-haul routes (including to Europe) include 25–30 kg even on Lite.
