Have your booking reference and ID ready
You'll need a 6-character booking reference (PNR) and a valid travel document (passport or EU/EEA national ID).

Use the button at the top of this page or visit ana.co.jp directly. Avoid third-party "check-in" sites.

Enter passenger details
Add passport / ID number, expiry date, and country of issue if travelling internationally. This step is mandatory and blocks check-in if skipped.

Choose seats and add extras
Random seats are free in the 24-hour window; named seats and priority boarding cost extra. Skip if you don't need them.

Save the boarding pass
Add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The All Nippon Airways app stores it offline once downloaded.

Common All Nippon Airways check-in problems
Japan domestic flights need separate Skip check-in for mobile boarding
Problem: ANA's 'Skip' service for Japan domestic is a separate flow from international online check-in. Need to register a credit card or IC card.
Solution: Use the ANA app — it handles both flows automatically once you're signed in to ANA Mileage Club.
Star Alliance Gold lounge access varies at NRT
Problem: Narita has multiple ANA-operated lounges; only some are accessible to Star Alliance Gold without flight on ANA metal.
Solution: If flying a non-ANA Star Alliance carrier from NRT, check the ANA Lounge access map or use the United Club at T1.

When does ANA check-in open?
24 hours before scheduled departure. Closes 75 minutes before for international, 30 minutes before for Japan domestic.
Does ANA include checked baggage in Economy?
Yes on most international routes (2 × 23 kg pieces for transpacific, 1 × 23 kg for Japan ↔ Europe). Japan domestic includes 20 kg free. Basic Economy on some routes excludes seat selection but still includes a checked bag.
