All-A220 fleet — limited overhead
المشكلة: airBaltic flies only Airbus A220-300 — modern but smaller overhead bins than 737/A320. Carry-on at gate-check more common.
الحل: Pack soft cabin bag. Gate-check is free if bin is full and you preboard. A220 has comfortable 5-abreast seating (1 less seat than A320).

30 hours before scheduled departure. Closes 60 minutes before for international, 45 minutes for Baltic regional.
Why does airBaltic fly only Airbus A220?
airBaltic was the launch customer for the A220 (formerly Bombardier CSeries) in 2016. The single-fleet strategy reduces costs (training, maintenance). 50+ A220s by 2026.
