Known issues at PRG with Ryanair
€55 airport check-in fee
Problem: If you arrive at PRG without checking in online, Ryanair charges €55 at the counter (per passenger, per flight).
Solution: Always check in online via ryanair.com or the Ryanair app at least 2 hours before departure. Save the boarding pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Non-EU passport check-in fails
Problem: Online check-in is blocked if passport/visa data is not entered in advance for travel outside the Schengen area.
Solution: Open Manage Booking → Travel Documents 24 hours before departure. Add full passport number, expiry date, and country of issue. Then complete check-in.
Bag-drop closes 40 min before departure
Problem: PRG counter closes 40 minutes before departure. Late arrivals cannot drop bags and risk being denied boarding.
Solution: Plan for at least 90 minutes total at the airport before a Ryanair departure. The bag-drop counter is in the T1 departure hall (south side).
