Known issues at LAX with United Airlines
405 freeway traffic adds 60+ minutes
Problem: Driving to LAX during rush hour can add an hour over normal travel time.
Solution: Use the FlyAway bus from Union Station ($9.75) or Metro K Line + LAX shuttle. Avoid 16:00–19:00 weekday rush.
Confusion with Tom Bradley International
Problem: United international flights sometimes depart from TBIT (Terminal B) instead of T7, particularly Star Alliance partner codeshare flights.
