How to check in online with Saudia

Have your booking reference and ID ready
You'll need a 6-character booking reference (PNR) and a valid travel document (passport or EU/EEA national ID).

Use the button at the top of this page or visit saudia.com directly. Avoid third-party "check-in" sites.

Enter passenger details
Add passport / ID number, expiry date, and country of issue if travelling internationally. This step is mandatory and blocks check-in if skipped.

Choose seats and add extras
Random seats are free in the 24-hour window; named seats and priority boarding cost extra. Skip if you don't need them.

Save the boarding pass
Add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The Saudia app stores it offline once downloaded.

Common Saudia check-in problems
Hajj/Umrah season heavy passenger load
Problem: JED and RUH are extremely busy during Hajj (June–August) and Ramadan/Umrah seasons; check-in queues can exceed 2 hours.
Solution: Allow 4+ hours at airport during Hajj/Umrah season. Use online check-in 36h before to skip counters where possible.
Visa data must match exactly
Problem: Saudi visa requirements are strict; mismatches between passport and visa block check-in.
Solution: Verify Saudi e-visa or visa-on-arrival eligibility before flight. Most OECD passports are now eligible for Saudi e-visa or e-tourist visa.

Does Saudia include free checked bag in Economy?
Yes — typically 32 kg checked + 7 kg carry-on on most international routes (1 piece up to 32 kg). Saudi domestic includes 25 kg.
