Random seats are free in the 24-hour window; named seats and priority boarding cost extra. Skip if you don't need them.

Save the boarding pass
Add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The Air India Express app stores it offline once downloaded.

Brand merger transition (AIX Connect)
Problem: Air India Express absorbed AIX Connect in 2024–2025. Some routes still operate under legacy AIX flight numbers.
Solution: Verify operating brand on booking. Both brands check in via airindiaexpress.com now.
Gulf-bound flights have extra ID checks
Problem: Routes to Saudi/UAE/Oman have stricter passport/visa verification at counter level.
Solution: Allow extra time at counter. ID + visa documents must match Indian government records exactly.
