FAQ enregistrement Spirit Airlines
When does Spirit Airlines check-in open?
24 hours before scheduled departure. Closes 60 minutes before for domestic, 75 minutes for international.
Why is Spirit so cheap?
Spirit's ULCC model unbundles every service: seat selection, carry-on, snacks, even printing boarding passes are extra. Base fare is just transport — pay only for what you need.
Did Spirit merge with JetBlue?
No — JetBlue's proposed acquisition was blocked by US courts in 2024. Spirit operates independently. Spirit filed Chapter 11 in late 2024 but continued operations.
