Basic fare excludes checked bag, advance seat, and changes
Problème : Aeroméxico's Basic fare on intra-Mexico and short-haul international excludes everything except a personal item.
Solution : Pre-pay for checked bag at booking ($25–$50 first bag) or upgrade to Classic fare which includes 25 kg + free seat selection.
MEX terminal change for SkyTeam
Problème : Aeroméxico recently moved most operations from T1 to T2 at Mexico City, but some legacy bookings still show T1.
Solution : Verify terminal in app before going to airport. If wrong, the airport free shuttle connects T1 and T2 in 5–10 minutes.
