Häufige Qantas-Check-in-Probleme
Domestic Australia 'Sale' fares restrict checked bag
Problem: Qantas Sale and Discount fares on intra-Australia routes include only carry-on; checked bag costs A$30–$45.
Lösung: Pre-pay during booking (cheaper), or upgrade to Flex fare which includes 23 kg checked.
Auto-rebook isn't always logged at check-in
Problem: If your flight was rescheduled (common during Aus weather disruption), the system may show wrong departure time at check-in.
Lösung: Verify flight time in app or calling Qantas before going to airport. Show the boarding pass with new time at gate.

When does Qantas check-in open?
24 hours before scheduled departure. Closes 60 minutes before for international, 30 minutes before for domestic Australia.
Is checked baggage free with Qantas?
Yes on most international Economy fares (1 × 23 kg) and on intra-Australia Flex fares. Sale and Saver fares on Australian domestic routes exclude free checked baggage.
